The County Admissions Team and Services for Young Children Team have worked together to produce this guidance leaflet for parents to support conversations between providers, schools and parents regarding arrangements for children starting in Year R, in September. The leaflet provides factual information about the legal framework and explains part-time attendance, full-time attendance and deferment. Please can you make a copy available to parents – further printed copies are being sent out to all providers for their notice boards/parent information area/folder.
