- Emergency Early Years Education (EYE) Provider Closures
Services for Young Children is pleased to be able to offer you, as an approved EYE provider with a business email account, the opportunity to use the HCC emergency closures procedures. This means that, should you ever need to close, e.g. in severe weather, heating failure, etc, this information will be automatically available on the HCC website and notified to local radio stations. This process, used by Hampshire schools and children’s centres, allows parents and other members of the public easy access to information and regular updates regarding closures.
To access this service, a letter with accompanying guidance will be sent to you shortly. - Advertising your Services
Childcare providers are asking about how to advertise their vacancies and services. The free and simple way to ensure families are able to access information about vacancies is to make sure that your details are up to date on the Family Information Directory www.fid.hants.gov.uk .
If you need to update your service details contact your local SfYC office. - Helping Parents Pay for Childcare and Taking up more Hours
