- Late Claims
The late claims process is now open for nursery funding. Please contact the Information Support Team on 01962 847070 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your setting details and the child’s name and date of birth. Childminders – please contact the NCMA for these.
- Improving Outcomes for Children Grant 2012
This is a targeted grant and will be available for two key purposes…
- Young Children’s Community Support Grant (YCCSG)
This is a new grant stream which will be co-ordinated through the corporate grant process and managed through SfYC.
- SfYC Funding Workshop Event

- New Online Training Supporting 0-2 year olds in the EYFS
The aim of this new online course is to further develop your knowledge and understanding of high-quality provision for babies and toddlers, 0-2 years.
The course is designed in line with the new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2012. For full details please click on the following link:
- New Online Training Supporting 2 year olds in the EYFS
This new online course shares information about the Government’s plans to introduce a new targeted entitlement for two year olds to access free early education. It also includes underpinning knowledge to support young children’s learning and development including the key person approach, the importance of play and how to implement the revised EYFS looking at the three prime areas of learning, the characteristics of effective learning and Development Matters statements. The final part of the course looks at the new progress check and how practitioners can carry these out effectively. For full details please click on the following link:
